Description
Here is the second completed* 'Avatar' perk commission (see my completed Indiegogo Campaign) .The client was interested in a miniature that would be compatible with his Mechanithralls for Cryx Warmachine army, but would stand out. So I created this 'Mecha Zombie', which was a lot of fun to sculpt. The skull was the most challenging part, as I had not sculpted any before and it took several attempts to get this nuance of it right.
Scratch built in green-stuff and Pro-Create at 32mm scale (he is roughly 40mm to the top of his right claw).
Comments (as always) are welcome.
UPDATE: Robust, finely detailed, metal casts of this miniature are now avaliable at Ex Manus Studios .
*I may, or may not, add some additional mechanical pieces to the skull.

This piece looks great. Which parts of a model do you prefer to use greenstuff and which procreate? I'm asking because I have both but I'm trying to find out which epoxy is best for different shapes/objects. Thanks!

Thanks! Green stuff, when freshely mixed is 'softer' and tends to curve more when you put a marke in it. This makes it better for organic shapes than Pro-create, which is stiffer, and holds an edge better, and hence is better for machinery, armour and so forth. It's also worthy to note that Pro-create is easier to sand and cut once it's set.
Hope that helps.
