(( This is a creation of the Fullmoon company [link] I do not claim ownership over its products or licensed characters and creations, this is merely a tribute to an enchanting dark series ^^))Torch: This metalic mockery of the germen holocaust was made by one of its more infamous survivors. Andre Toulons last known created puppet, he possibly bears the soul of a former soldier who fought against or served the Nazis. This embodiment of genocide seeks to wipe out all humans.
Weapons/powers: Torch uses a miniature flame thrower that takes the place of his right hand as his primary weapon. His helmet spike is as lethal as any of the puppets miniature blades as well.

Torch's soul is actually possesed by Erich Toulon, Andre Toulon's own son. He died when he had his father cornered with a flamethrower and was killed by Blade. Erich served to nazi's at the time. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or if he was brainwashed into it. But anyway the soul is his own 'hotheaded' son.

I have heard of the comics, but I have yet to read any of them. Always assumed they would be marvel style with there own different canon from the movies.

Well I haven't read the comics either but according to their official wiki page it says so in the comics. Torch's soul really is a mystery.

Well that just might not go together with other theories.
No one knows much about Torch. Other than he gladly burns both his foes and his normal encounters into crisps. He doesn't speak, but emmits demonic pantings.
Imagine Pyro, but a bit less imaginative and more homicidal.

And the concept of a single human essence being mixed with the elixir to bring them to life only established n PM3.In both PM and PM2, the only thing needed for the puppet to live and sustain it is the elixir, which is a combination of processed brain from different people mixed with "The secret of Osiris", which might be a super stem cells of an alien being (osiris) that can replicate specific systems. So I got your point there

Torch is my favorite puppet he's so awesome shame he's not in more movies but I hear he is rather expensive to operate. As for his identity I think that an animal or Neil Gallager form PM1 are good theories. Personally I like the animal one becuase in PM 3 Toulon mentioned the souls of the puppets had the will to live and animals are all about instinct and the need to survive.

There is a small rumour regarding Torch's identity. During the second movie, the puppets were sent out to colelct tissue, but kept coming back with animal parts. It's believed that 'Andre' (I refuse to acknowledge that man as the same puppet master) used these parts to create torch. It would explain why he never speak, but instead roars and such.

In theory the animal identity makes since seeing how all you need is some dark magic and a little chemical know-how, to create the little devils.

doubt that, but my hunch is that Torch's soul is that of the victim Tunneler killed before he was disected.

It could be, but then again, that is the soul of one of the Paranormal research team. I doubt he'd turn on his friends that easily or obey Toulon after being killed. It's unknown..
