EDIT: Animated his armThis is what happens when I get bored xD
I've always wanted to animate a Sonic character but just never had the confidence to do it. But since being at College I've learnt a lot about Flash. It's a very simple animation, but I can't do anything amazing at the moment xD
This is usually what Pendulum does when he's asked a question he doesn't know the answer to. May touch a few bits up later on xD Please go easy on me!

I don't know the first thing about flash so I give a thumbs up to you for getting to this stage, I can't wait to see how it looks if you develop it further!! ^^

I thought that was a really cute animation!^^ Good job! ^_^ Flash just isn't for me...Looks like there are just to many things to remember to have to do...So, I use MS paint and Movie Maker! And if I need things a bit faster, I might use Animation Shop!
It's kinda sad in a way, flash seemed like it made the frames easier to draw...But there are just so many steps to have to follow...So I'm all : The heck with it! You gotta draw frames here like you do in flash, so why not use a program I KNOW I can use?

Oooh I haven't actually tried using those programs for animating, would you say Animation shop is worth getting? I just really wanna get better xD

And about animation shop...I'm really not to sure...I only made one animation in it, to test it out so...I really don't know. A few things I don't like about it, (as far as drawing in it goes.) Is that I haven't been able to figured out how to change the brush sizes on it...But then again, that could just be me, since I haven't messed with it that much.
Ya know, I don't like in a lot of newer programs, how you gotta : Type up this number, or type up that number, just to get the drawing size you want. To me it's annoying. Where as with paint you can just use your mouse and drag out whatever size you want!
I also don't like it, that in newer programs they don't give a perfect fill in like in bucket fills. If you bucket fill things in programs like : Gimp. You can't get a perfect fill in unless you use layers!
But even if the coloring can be a bit off on Gimp, I love the shading and highlighting features it has, so I still use Gimp for things like that.
But over all, I would say animating with paint and movie maker would be easier. The only downside to paint however, is the lines aren't as clean and smooth. Anyway, animation shop's speed could come in handy if Movie Maker's is not fast enough. It's up to the person really, and what way of animation they like best. You can find tutorials for both : Flash, and MS paint and movie maker animations, on YouTube as well as animation Shop! Uh...I think. XD

Lmao OMFG I'm sorry Stace XDDDDD MMMM Flash commissions<3 They'll be hot hot hot<3 XD I dunno what looping means (Cause I'm a dumb dumb<3 XD) But yes it does take hours and it frustrate someone (I've tried once but a small icon making thing XD)
