Gaak!Very nice piece.

But I'm not sure about the concept.

Do you mean that the mother is bound to the foetus by the act of conception,but do you see this bound as a "chosen" bound or something "forced"?

The metallic background also,give the feeling of something cold,a little alien.
And a baby is,as far as I see it, an "alien" creature which grows into a mother womb ...

actually, there is nothing here to do with mother and baby/ foetus at all...
it is more about conception of ideas, thoughts, beliefs, etc...
