--Jordan had been having fun playing with her new friend, Cherason, a hybrid of several different creatures. She was riding on his back as the two were exploring the area. Soon Cherason had stopped near a lake and Jordan hopped off his back.
"What are we doing here? Do you want to go swimming? I don't really have a swimsuit to wear," Jordan said. Cherason only gurgled and pointed at the water with his tail. Jordan walked over and saw many colorful fish swimming around in the water. Jordan gasped at their bright colors and crouched to get closer.
"Is this what you wanted to show me?" she asked, looking up at Cherason. His reply was a happy smile and a gurgle. Jordan smiled too as the two friends looked back at the water and continued watching the fish swim and play.

Well, I identify bettas because the males have big dorsal fins and tailfins that vary from veiltail to halfmoon. The females have smaller fins and plakat shaped tails.
