Lyta goes swimming with a friend. Special summer pin up #3, and a companion piece to [link] and [link] and entry #3 for summer art jam.In watching octopi swim, I've noticed they sometimes jet through the water, and sometimes amble along on their tentacles, he's clearly doing the latter.

How on earth did I guess. Nice work on the octopus but I wouldn't want to get that close too him if I saw him swimming around here. Most animals in the Australian ocean will try to kill you.

The most dangerous of every kind of animal comes from Australia, although generally octopi are more curious about humans than anything else (as I recall there's only one species that's poisonous enough to hurt a human, and it lives off Australia, of course). Of course curious octopi can pull off scuba masks and rebreathers, and curious Humboldt squids will haul swimmers underwater to get a look at them, which doesn't usually go over very well.
This one here's a friendly octopus, the kind that predicts the results of German soccer matches.
