I've been working on this since forever, and I've finally had enough. XD so here it is.I really have no reasonable explanation why is Watchmaker's roof covered with cogwheels. Maybe that's how he stashes spare parts.

First I loved it. Then I noticed the roof and I had to add it to my favs
The atmosphere reminds me of the time my father would read bedtime stories to me and my little sister... This would make a great illustration for one of those stories.

All I can think is how long it must have taken to draw all the cogwheels!

Yup, colored pencils are great! Although, mine seem to be a bit pale, I guess I'll try purchasing another brand next time.Β Β
This idea kind of jumped me, I really don't know the story behind this is supposed to be. So yeah, it's something I thought up for this one drawing.Β Β but I hope the ideas will keep coming, I think it has potential. I would really like to know what this mysterious Watchmaker looks like, when he lives in such a cool house and all. XD I guess I'll just have to keep working on it.
