I use the Vector Layer instead of normal layer,and then i use 2 or 3 layer,i use the original screenshot with low opacity layer and then use the pen tool at the Vector layer where are the lines with the color,some lines dont come good,so i use Ctrl and go editing it to be good,and a black layer,under they to see better whay i done a bit wrong,i actually only know that i done is a vector because of the name of the layer xD
But SAI dont do much perfect and is more harder,but,it still do some good vectors

How do you color in the vecor areas? Like, I was able to figure out how to do the outline of my work, but I'm left with the bucket tool to fill. :/ is there a better way?

i usually go painting every part in the layer above the vector layer,but i think that is another way,like selecting parts of the vector are and paint it at the layer under
i will do a tutorial for it,im not good at explaining,im better with tutorials xD

wait...so, you make another vector layer above the line art layer? or you just make a regular layer and use the bucket tool to fill in the line art?

but then...how is it a vector? With vectors, you should be able to resize it to any enlargement or shrink it and the pixels should all line up the same without blurring.

SAI vectors are just differents,i think xD
i suck at PS,but i am good with SAI,but SAI isnt all this good with vectors D8
altrought i only know it is a vector because of the name of the layer...

I <3 photoshop, but it's ridiculously expensive, and any uh....not so legal downloads are always either
A. Glitchy
or
B. Viral
and PS just runs shitty in general on a non-macintosh comp. Guess it's okay, really. It's nice to be able to create really nice lineart, anyway.

Well, I've taken PS classes, and aced them. It's just that I don't have it on my laptop, because it takes up so much space.

What's cool? sorry, I must have misunderstood something.

And yes, PS is HUGE. I downloaded it once, and it turned my normally quick-paced laptop into a slug, so I had to uninstall it. .SAI never did, which is nice. :3 and I love the way it works with my tablet.
