Another piece from the cellar (I don't really have a cellar but you get the idea).When I was a kid I was never allowed to spend any money at the arcade but once Dragon's Lair came out it didn't matter so much. I was so mesmerized by the animation I was happy to just watch other kids play the game. They would feed that game quarters like it was the end of the earth.
Like most of my stuff, this was drawn and inked on bristol board then scanned and colored in Photoshop.

Actually, the branch beneath him is glowing red, so it'll be an option for the player to choose. He may or may not die.

Except that I don't hold the copyright for the character, nor do I have permission from the copyright holder. I've got loads of my own material anyways and I'd rather do those. One of them is in the fantasy realm too, so it fulfills that desire.

Yes, that's the key. You have to do something you love. The passion comes through. I never try to create something I think other people will like; I try to create the things I'd want to see and read myself.
