Awww, an uncharacteristically stroppy Phineas. Maybe it's a side-effect of an invention, or misprescribed medication, or he's just having a bad day
.Does he have bad days? Regardless, Phineas being anything other than happy is always great, like his diva tantrum in Flop Starz. That made me lol.
I directly used the colours from the show in this one, which isn't what I usually do because they're a bit more saturated and primary than what's realistic, but I wanted to try it out for once in this style.

I see this picture now, and I see the whole I give up scene in SBTY. He's just dragging along after almost 40 hours straight, and it's so awesome to see how you almost predicted the expression perfectly.

You are, like, my favorite person right now, I swear. You see, I think (a little too often) about Phineas's unrealistic optimistic disposition, too, and...when will he lose that sunny innocence that makes Phineas, Phineas? It has to happen sometime and anything could result from it which makes mesort of excited in a fangirlish way. I don't know about other kids, but at his age I already knew about the crap in the world and was OCD-ing wildly about it. So Phineas's character is especially interesting to me. I was a little disappointed when I took into account his tantrum in "Flop Stars" because it wasn't real... Phineas is just a very good actor. I still like to see it, though. For that same reason he reallly annoys me. Where's the character development? The other emotions that complete the puzzle of a character? And... THAT'S WHERE FANFICTION COMES IN BUM BADA DUM!
I really like this picture, man! Awesome expressions! I also dig the poses, because so many artists on DA are afraid to communicate emotions through their subjects' body language. And, as I implied before, I really like seeing a melancholy Phineas, haha. Great work!

Omg I know! That's one of my biggest ruminations when it comes to this show D: I REALLY want some more sad Phineas for some character development. It's why so much of what I draw involves him at least calm. I wish I had some idea for a fanfic, but generally my ideas are so small that it's really only worth a picture XD. Or a roleplay, but I have yet to do that. One favourite theory of mine is a grossly incorrect representation of ADD/ADHD, though I know it's not true XD. And that's sort of hard to show in a picture.
Thank you! Recently I've been finding a lot of characters I draw look a little glassy-eyed (I think the spell has passed though) so I've had to focus on body language. Blessing in disguise I hope

That's one of the reasons you and I are so into intoxicated Phineas...because it puts him in a situation other than naturally happy, you know what I mean? Btw... We should roleplay. Just putting it out there.
I'm a fanfiction machine. It's pretty sad, actually, when I get even a little idea, throughout the next eight days I sit in class and daydream, and I end up with a very long and complicated story.

I was about to say the same thing D: we should totally roleplay. And you're right- that's the charm of intoxicated Phineas. Especially since that way he could go from happy to sad in the blink of an eye.
How much of your writing do you post? I write it sometimes but I've only got one thing online. I'm not confident enough in it to want to put it out there. I do get tons of ideas, but they're usually very quick and only worth a picture, or at most a one-shot. I might try and tie it all up at some point though and get something longer.

That's the problem with me-almost none. I have, like, eight really complicated, entertaining, dramatic stories for different fandoms, but I get embarassed and hardly write anything down. It's too bad, but whatever. Maybe someday.
I have trouble writing one-shots because my brain loves to put stories together and twist them so that they make one bug complicated one with all the facts adding up, so I always think of more. That doesn't necessarily mean I write it down, I just think about it. Mostly because I'm lazy. Idk.

It's my second favourite episode, after Phineas and Ferb Get Busted (or whatever the title is. It's half two in the morning here). I guess I just like seeing the boys having trouble for once XD it's nice to see them doing something that _isn't_ going exactly to plan.

Yeah, it could have been really good for character development XD especially Jeremy's, suprisingly. That episode made me go from sort of liking him, to properly thinking he was really cool. He's so blonde and charming

When I saw that part in the episode all I could think was 'thank god they didn't seperate Phineas and Ferb.' That would've screwed them up...

Ever since I've been a fan I've always shipped either complete rivals (like HarryxDraco) or best-friends-forever like Phineas and Ferb XD and they're rarely if ever het. Going against the grain is really fun, but it does mean you don't get a lot of fanstuff to keep you entertained.
My current fave P&F song is the Aglet song, because I just watched that episode and Phineas is adorable in it XD. THERE he's happy and able to say his line

haha yupp! harry/draco is one of my favorites just because its so funny! and phineas and ferb is just way to adorable. and as sad as it is, in Inkheart one of my favorite pairings is meggie/dustfinger. its so so wrong, but i love it haha.
