I made this from a picture of Sawako from Kimi Ni Todoke, I absolutely adore that anime!! :3 This is my first "real" base, her left arm still irks me but, oh well lol :3-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, it's not easy lol!! :3 I click to edit a picture of one of my favorite characters and then select the darkest skin tone. I outline the edges of her skin then outline where her scalp would be. Then I use black to outline her eyelashes and outer edge of her iris. I think I've gotten fairly good at shading eyes so I just guess where to put the different shades, the highlights I outlined with a random color then changed to white once all of the highlight on the inside is ready. Then I create depth by adding the basic skin tone then shading it where it needs. Basically, it's just a lot of erasing. You see, once you have everything outlined, you have to erase all the other, then color it in. I use bases a lot so I guess that made it easier too? lol :3
Some of the bases I've seen don't look very, ehrm, good in quality. So I tried really hard on this one so it'd be a base that somepony would want to use :3 Her left arm is off but, I didn't know exactly how to fix it, so I left it like that lol :3
