I was so proud of how the cover for the HNC comic came out I decided to post it here. *spwah* Lot's of errors with the lineart ;/ that's what I get for going so fast, though. It's aa marker sketch that I added gradient and color burn to in photoshop... most of the work was traditional thus the traditional category. I wanted it to feel like neon and graffitti and such, more rave-like art will come as the series goes on I suppose.Have fun trying to read the background xD

I like this lots. It's got a gritty, 80s punk/rave feel to it.
On another thought. Aren't tribal/swirly wings addictively fun to draw? They're what I doodle when I don't know what else to draw.

I'm going more for 90's punk rave xD! Eighties would be a bit dirtier, more brown, more blood. The 90's, though they had their gritty, was more of an almost clean cement grit to it, a bit more innocent, that's how I remember it. I think I'm alone in my ninetiesness, though

YES~! After a rather large worldwide event where the Heylin and Xiaolin teamed up, Jack got a taste a freedom and wanted to get the hell away from his home and get some independance, so he eventually talked his mom into letting him buy a nightclub. he doesn't run it FOR the Heylin but it ends up that way, and he has a special connection to the city that'll end up being revealed later~ ;D

There will be Chack. it's actually got a few different pairings in it(a really strange challenge I picked up a taste for writing, group pairing sorta thing), but the way the comic goes it's seperated. There'll be chapters dedicated to Chack and chapters for the other pairings.
