Description
I finally colored the lovely lines I commissioned from ΒThink of the girls waiting for the guys to go on a snow date.
If you follow me, you know how I ship them...in spite of canon.
I used my copic markers and some white gel pen. I also did some minor digital color reajustment to get rid of the scanner fade.
Ino Yamanaka, Hinata Hyuuga & Sakura Haruno are Masashi Kishimoto's creations from his Manga Naruto.

Awesome Coloring. Especially the hair. And great work with all the shades and highlights. Those are what makes the details look good and not fade into the color..Β Β

I always try to put my best foot forward when coloring lines I've commissioned.
Hair is my favorite part to color (especially Hinata's).

I've got to keep my marker skills in practice until I finish my next set of lines.
So the least I can do is color some of the lovely lines I've commissioned.

And what's awesome is that they all smile so differently on these lines. It made it even more fun to color.

Aww, yes! <3 I love that.
They got awesome outfits.
You coloured it nicely. It makes you see the structure of the fabrics

It was fun feeling out the right textures(It's something I need to do more of). The snow & sky made for a simple backdrop so I got it done this winter...instead of keep it waiting another year.
I've got a lot of things to catch up on.
I've been working on coloring a lot of lines lately, so I've got something else you should see:Β WIPChouIno1 Still working out what the right background will be for this.

Love your choice of colours.

I used to have a sweater something like Ino's, that's why I went for that kind of color layering.

Although I always find my markers are most magical when it comes to Hinata's hair.

haha I've been working on coloring a lineart of her myself. Her hair really is the most magical

My daughter is always jealous of how it turns out.
Although I'm pretty happy with the texture of her outfit as well: It has a velour like contrast and softness which I hope I can do again sometime. Plus her fuzzy little shrug worked out well.
All in all it's a festival of texture. I really should do more.

Yessss. I can't wait to see more of your work. I love the traditional copics look. I've never gotten to try them out because they're really expensive T-TΒ

And as I've said in the past I can do digital...although my daughter has promised she'll try to coach me through line-art in SAI. I've really got to get my line-arts up to my coloring standards.

I'd love to use SAI, but it's not compatible with mac T-T I'd love to see more of your digital work as well

haha Lineart is a pain, but mostly just time consuming...depending how you do it. I use the path tool honestly. Gimp makes my lines too shaky otherwise. Though I have a new program, ArtRage Studio, that is pretty nice. I'll be experimenting with it more
