Description This is a recently renovated covered walkway leading from Nuevo Progreso, Mexico to Progreso, Texas. Nuevo Progreso is a tourist town both locals and Winter Texans frequent because of low prices on handicrafts, liquors and restaurants. It is a small town with most of the business down their main street.

I love this shot... it's a unique perspective on an otherwise ordinary structure. I really love the imagery in Progreso... I think I'll go back sometime this week to do some shooting.

And also, congrats on getting your photos featured on Yahoo's news page!

Again, thanks for the comment. When my son saw the photo, he said the lights down the center looked like a spinal cord and that the red parts on both sides look like the muscles you see in medical books. I never saw it that way. I guess everyone sees the same thing differently. No wonder those guys that create modern art get away with so much, they let you decide what you are looking at, since they don't know what you are seeing. I guess that is where "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" comes from, I guess you could also say "Ugliness is in he eye of the beholder", or "one man's trash is another man's treasure", maybe this could also be reversed, "one man's treasure is another man's trash." I guess I should quit babbling on. Adios and keep on shooting. No shooting - no masterpieces.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this nice shot was a human back. The reddish area being the muscles and the lights being the spine. Keep up the excellent work!

Thanks for the comment Karley. I really hadn't thought of it the way you described it. I'll have to look at it again. Adios.
