Description I was walking on the beach at South Padre Island when I came upon this shot. I loved the way something like this can grow in pure sand and then if you look at it closely, you can see the sand on the leaves.

Thanks for the comment on the plant at the beach shot. The light was just beautiful. I think the sand was throwing or reflecting light back to the plant. I used the Lumix on this one - 4 megapixels. It is real crispy.

Thanks amigo. The lighting was beautiful on the sand dunes today.
