jd gini...di photomatix, gw bikin banyak tone-map dengan beda2 settingan...dengan tujuan...tiap tone-map punya ciri exposure yg nge-cover satu sama lain..baik shadow & higlite dr photo tsb. Truuus...klo kenapa gw make multiply?karena tone-map2 yg gw blend itu fungsi nya hanya sebgai pembungkus image original. syaratnya...image original musti di color corection dulu

could it be that the "shadow/highlight" option only can used with CS version of photoshop ?

after more searching i finally found it
iΒ΄m using german language on my ps and this option got completely different meanings through translation.
-> beleuchtung anpassen > tiefen/lichter
-> exposure adjustment > depths/lights ..... or something like that

btw, can you please have a tut on how you made the shadow/highlight in the black and white manipulation ?

Hi thank you...well i juz wanna share w/ people especially in DA
hmmm the shadow/highliht? okay...i only can say "different image will have different treatment or setting"..but basicly the use of shadow higlight is to increase the details in your image..
How? ok..when brings up the Shadow/Highlight dialog box. If you haven't yet made any changes to the default settings, you'll see a very simple dialog box with only two sliders, one for brightening shadows and the other for darkening highlights. The default Shadows amount is 50%, while Highlights is set to 0%:
Usually i always play in Shadow amount in 5-20% and the highlight in 0-5%..i think its quite enought to bring the details without ruinning the image with popped-out look.
