I am well-aware of this fact, thank you very much.
I have the right to name my characters after whoever I want. If I think the name "Seth" suits this character, I shall call him "Seth". It doesn't necessarily have to do with the homonymous Egyptian god, regarding his personality as well as his appearance. I don't see why you would use a facepalm in this case. As far as you are concerned, there is nothing to be offended or ashamed about.
