Description
This is the (not so very long) awaited tutorial...which I will be posting as I progress through the painting! You will notice I split the catagories up:

1. skin
2. eyes
3. lips
4. clothes
5. Misc.
6. Hair

I always do everything in this order, no matter what the painting. This is kind of a prologue thing, to tell you what to expect, and also to summarise.

After very brief discussions and threats with Nykolai, a member on here, he reported to DA that I had ripped off his work, and of course, having no WIP images, I couldn't prove to him that I hadn't. So Girl With A pearl earring was taken off the site. Why didn't I just delete layers? you ask. Well, I couldn't...all the layers had merged into one when I saved it the last time. Tis a thing that happens with my computer, and very annoying.

And so, I start this tutorial to a) prove that I don't cheat and b) for the benefit of Aneesah and Oli4D, who, in not so many words, requested one.

I began this painting today, and thought I would turn it into a tutorial...so here goes. This is Emma Watson - the original photograph, which is incidentally (to cover my back from overhead vultures *coughs* Nykolai!) a copyright and is therefore in no way mine. Disclaimer finished! OK, lets go!
