Description This took waaaaaaaaay too long, about 9-10 hours infact heres hoping it was worth it considering everything else I do is 4 hours or less (bar Ticranium)

Originally this was going to be a fully robotic serpent, but I seem to have an obsession with aquatic beings so made it so with a few shiny robotic limbs... so its aquatic, slightly automated robot and floating above canyons not swimming in water??? ... don't question me, best to let this one slide by

I hope you guys like this one as my arms really hurt and I've gone 3 days with only an hour of video games

... oh and whos you're money on? the second contestent? that ship right at the bottom ofcourse

Thanks When I did Gonslayer I kinda thought it lacked variation (it being a serpent with about 3 textures) so i thought why not cram 'em all in?

Oh yes now you mention I have seen a lot of ponys poorly coloured even in the popular section I guess blind fans will allways favourite any work based on what they like regardless of quality. Well thanks for the kind words and I'll be on the look out for fads. (the sonic thing used to p me off, even when I was a sonic fan )

Only thing I could say, is to keep track of the sky. That is just WAY too much white and it's a little distracting. Not that you have to do something crazy, but hopefully you could figure something out and we can deal with this itsy-bitsy problem in the bud before it goes on for a few years to bite you back.

Believe me I know, its just I can't shade clouds well and they become to dark making the creature blend into the background, I might try a floating city. I would say there are MANY problem I could pick (no shadows/ no interactivity/ proportions inaccurate/ bland backgrounds) but yes, I should take it one step at a time starting with the easy (more detailed backgrounds/shading)

You tottally should, but you must be careful to do not overwhelm the scene, because the lines can make everything confusing if you do not use them wisely. You are great in this shading technique, but you got to master it and use it to your advantage.

True, a cheep easy tactic would be to have two very differently styled creatures dueling, like a robot and a dinosaur I've only done about ten drawing like this so I hope I get better realatively quickly
