Description
5 more hours since the last WIP!!Man she is hard to draw!!
I've been working forever on her face and I never seem to get it right!
As you can see the details in this drawing is very small. It was almost impossible to draw the lines between the teeth
12 hours so far! ....
Graphite pencils on Arches paper
Size: 30x40 cm
Oh and in case you are wondering... The thing I'm holding in my hand is a blending stumb/stick, or as I call it Stampf.
Cheers!

You've done her face really well. People seem to struggle with her dimples, but the face is flawless.

What sort of special tools do you use to get that amount of detail into such a small drawing? It looks impossible

I use a mechanical pencil 0,5 mm for the small details. And I use bledningstumps to remove the pencil-strokes.

Whats the range you have of your derwents?
I have a graphic set from f to 9b.... I was wondering this might sound very dumb but one if they go any higher than 9B and if so how big is your set.....
Does that make sense?

I have the same as you! and No I don't think there is any higher then 9b. Either way I don't think there would be any use for a softer pencil then 9b.

No I wouldn't think so either. I am only really beginning to branch out with my media so I don't really use my 9b pencil very much at all... I pretty much just use my 2b HB and my 4B but I only really do anime sketching at the moment but thanks for answering!

well even though it's hard she seems flawless...and i can imagine her face being harder to draw than some of the others like adriana or alessandra...karolina might be one of the harder ones with the face too...isabel would have the hardest hair to draw though. but she looks gorgeous as always(lucky bitch! lol). amazing job!!!
