The earth loomed huge, even from the moon. I sat here in the gray dirt, staring at the planet. Suddenly, the sight was too much for me. I wished I could close my eyes, or cover them with my hands. My arms felt leaden, and my mind was too mixed up to decipher whether it was where I was or what I had been through that was to blame.
I let out a banshee-scream full of heartache. What was once my safe haven was now my prison. My love turned out to be working against me. Heavenβthe place every human and reaper wanted to end upβwould always be kept from me.
This picture reminds me a lot of this scene.
