That’s the first king and queen of the Pridelands, Amri and Shisayo. The next is a painting of Auni, using the Roar of the Elders. The third lion shown is not someone we’ve met in the comic, or in anything else I’ve drawn—he’s an OC I’ve been tinkering with, just a previous Guard who abused the Roar and lost it. He won’t have impact on this story, just makes for a good visual.
