Ahadi:

Ahadi came from a broken pride, driven by a tyrant king who challenged anyone who approached his land. Even if they were half starved and barely alive, the king challenged them. One evening, the king came across a rogue lion and like all the times before, he challenged him. Only this rogue was stronger and had been half crazed with hunger. The king did not stand a chance and was killed. This left the pride of lionesses without protection and under the rule of an even greater threat. The rogue drove the land to choas and darkness. Male cubs posed as a threat to the new king's position and were sentenced to death. Ahadi's mother knew this and when the time was safest, she carried him to the border and ordered him to run. Ahadi was hesitant before the rogue king found them and Ahadi's mother gave her life so that Ahadi could escape.

Ahadi grows up alone, fending for himself, and preying on what little the land had to offer. He molded into a rogue teenager, with a fierce temper and distrustful attitude. It wasn't until he stumbled upon the path of the the Pride Lands that he changed his ways. He was careful to avoid unwanted attention, but the Majordomo, Zuzu quickly found him and alerted Mohatu.

Good, gentle Mohatu approached with his usual calm demeanor. Ahadi saw right through him and prepared to fight. But instead of seeing a rogue, Mohatu saw a frightened, starving cub. After a calm chat, Mohatu convinced Ahadi to follow him to Pride Rock.

Uru:

Uru grew up in the Pride Lands, as only daughter to King Mohatu who's mate had passed shortly after given birth to Uru. With her cheerful attitude, calm understanding, she had the makings of a wonderful Queen. The animals of the land adored her as did the Pride. Mohatu was trustful of his daughter, and allowed her to go as she pleased, but Uru never abused this honor.

When word reached her that her father had brought in a rogue, she was one of the first to say hello. His grumpy attitude was completely opposite from her own, but she didn't mind. It was Uru who Ahadi opened up to first. Her personality was one of a kind ans Ahadi vowed no one would hurt her. She indeed became his light in his time of darkness.
