honestly I like the lion guard so much more than the original just because it’s all original material and not stolen from kimba (not making a value judgement, just that it’s easier to like it knowing it isn’t blatant plagiarism) Also I think seeing other animals is cool and ono is fun.

I could never get into the Simba-Kimba fight, it was biggest before I joined the fandom and just felt so whiny. But TLG is definitely cool and underrated, it’s definitely original

Idk, I kind of agree, but more come from the side that people should be able to accept that they could still like or love the lion king while admitting it’s plagiarized, and the ONLY reason there’s any doubt is people giving unreasonable leniency to a massive corporation because they’re afraid of
their favorite thing being stolen. If any other company did the same to Disney, Disney would pound their ass into the ground so fast there’d be a sonic boom and so hard there’d be a crater.
