I haven’t drawn my version of Tiifu and Zuri’s cubs very much, and I suddenly felt inspired to In my headcanon/nextgen, Tiifu and Zuri are happily married, and for obvious reasons needed some help when they eventually wanted to conceive—you can read my headcanon on rogue males here , and their specific rogue friend here Onto the characters!

Abiraj: he’s the eldest of the bunch, although you wouldn’t know it for how protective his siblings can be. He’s an optimistic guy, who upon first impressions can come across as oblivious and awkward, due to not being the most emotionally intelligent lion—however, Abiraj is a thoughtful, book-smart (or whatever the lion world equivalent is) and extremely determined lion. His biggest fault is probably impulsivity, although he has a better head on his shoulders than, say, Kiara’s son Kopa II, and doesn’t go looking for danger.

Kung’aa: the second eldest. She takes heavily after her bio mother in demeanor—Kung’aa knows that she’s gorgeous, in her opinion if you’ve got it you should flaunt it. Unlike Zuri, however, Kung’aa has no anxious streak, and in fact is headstrong, extroverted, and arguably bossy. That said, she has a good heart, and is set on becoming a hunting party leader when she’s old enough.

Muskurao: the second youngest over all, but the eldest of Tiifu’s litter. He’s a bit of a showman, and like his big sister he sure knows that he’s pretty. He’s friendly, helpful, and flamboyant, which all serve to make him well-liked. Even so, he can be overbearing or too cute, and he gets on some lions’ nerves. Muskurao inherited Tiifu’s fear of the dark, which he has not gotten over.

T’Meni: the youngest of the bunch. She takes after Tiifu even more than Kung’aa takes after Zuri, being very gentle, patient, and kind-hearted. She also tries to maintain a graceful and mature attitude. However, though her mom-friend nature is genuine, she has a short fuse as well—if anybody picks on her friends, she can flip on a dime and go full feral beast, which, despite her small stature, is kind of terrifying. Also, though T’Meni is a cisgender girl, her body grew a small mane. She inherited this from Tiifu’s side (it skipped a couple of generations, Tiifu’s maternal grandmother was a maned lioness too).
