I've been drawing too much Lion King again. And lazy backgrounds. Originally just a sketch of Nala and Mheetu, then became this...

So I was debating whether I should keep the idea the Scar is Nala's father... And I just want to point something out: Yes this would make Simba and Nala cousins. No, I don't think this would be a problem because A) they're lions, and B) they're royal lions. Royals deliberately marry cousins all the time to preserve "pure" blood. Plus I could see Mufasa betrothing them to try and 'fix' his relationship with his brother... Anyway I did have doubts about it simply because Nala really doesn't look like Scar. But then when I mixed Scar's and Sarafina's colors together to make a color pallet for Mheetu, I noticed how much he really looked like he could be Nala's brother, and how orange(ish) Nala's coat is compared to her mother's. So that sort of solidified the idea for me. But also, I had gotten some info that this might be somewhat confirmed by the guys who directed the film and-- yeah, just type in "who is Nala's father" into google and check out the first result. (It's kind of funny really )
