I love Talonflame so much. When I was in middle school back in...1997 I was playing Pokemon Red and was like, 'I wish there was a fire falcon pokemon" AND THEN POKEMON X/Y COMES OUT AND THERE IS.

you have no idea how happy i was to finally see a Peregrine Falcon based pokemon (my favorite bird)... and it's FIRE too! i got lucky in catching an Adamant Fletchling in the beginning and boosted attack and speed. Aerial Ace, Brave Bird, Flame Charge, and Steel Wing just decimated the Elite Four
now all they need is a wolf based pokemon and i'll be a very happy pokefan (come on nintendo, DO IT!)

Mightyena is based off the hyena. There is no pokemon based off the wolf yet.

I still use him, Houndoom, and Suicune as my substitute wolves until the day nintendo wakes up and realizes that we have enough fox based pokes and that we need a wolf based one.

These guys must hunt at top speed among trees, vines and a really thick jungle, so they are exceedingly agile. Spanish conquistadores, who loved hunting with falcons, were ecstatic with these small, nimble birds.... man, these guy maneuver like a feathered F-16!
The only eagle able to be so agile is this African Bateleur: www.africanraptors.org/wp-cont… I'd love to see a Pokemon based on this bird, or on the Harpy eagle (my all-time fav eagle)
