wanted to paint my charr mesmer again, Corvi. been trying to nail down her design; I think I've decided that she doesn't actually have horns like most charr, they're just a mesmer illusion she puts on to look extra scary. basically just clip on horns but more magicalSponsored by ArenaNet.

That's a little different take, do you have a backstory explanation yet for why she doesn't have horns? (maybe she is naturally polled like some goats, sheep, cows, etc?

yeah, that was what i was thinking, she just never grew horns for whatever reason haha! Personality wise she's very vicious and tough to make up for it, and I guess in my vague probably not super accurate to lore headcanon--her parents died besieging Ebonhawke and she was captured by some Ebon Vanguard soldiers, who took pity on her and fostered her for a bit until she could be returned to a Black Citadel fahrar. That, plus not having horns, always kinda marked her as maybe not really a charr to others so she's been kinda compensating for that her whole life. but at the same time, that experience in her childhood also made her more sympathetic to other races than she might otherwise be, so yeah.
