4/40: Respite

Characters: Lios & Ithildin'myr

I adore these two characters and the wholesome bond between them. Ithildin'myr giving off them guardian/big-brother vibes and protecting poor Lios who's a total cinnamon-roll and far too precious for this world. The scene here is that Ilthildin'myr brought Lios to a quieter part of the country to relax for a bit, perhaps on their day off. The water-body isn't as deep as it appears, so I suppose the cave could be Ilthildin'myr's secret hide-out or stash? I imagine Lios to be a fidgety sort of guy, someone who has some difficulty unwinding or relaxing because of his troublesome past. So he'd probably pace around and bit and twiddle his thumbs. All the while, his dragon smiles at him reassuringly, silently letting him know that "Everything's going to be alright."

I am basically a woofer-artist who sometimes doodles other feral critters, so I'm always a bit extra-critical on myself when it comes to fantasy creatures and humanoids. I went hard on that BG... though there are a few things that still bug me, but I ended up with 70+ layers and PS crashed ... I did some minor edits to the piece, blurred out a few things here and there, nothing too noticeable. I may come back to this to fix a few things in the future though.
