In the embrace of darkness. You covered youself in
it so completely, and yet from that moment you
were my burst of sunlight. Such incredible warmth,
or perhaps thats just the heat my own body is
portraying. My emotions are vibrating. Its so perfect
but it could never be right. Words spilling from our
mouths, thoughts in which we fully relate. In these
words I am only displaying my incompetence.
Does it matter? We arent even paying attention
to what we are saying, as these whispers evaporate
into the night; fogging my downcast eyes. Everything
of importance I am slowly etching into your
flesh. Feeling your essence pulse. Memories of others
so far away, was it through pain that we
both reached for each other? First holding, healing,
and then through liquid caresses.
