the night that will never truly endwe are the embodiment of the emotions
coursing through the air
there is nothing holding on
to whatever you could have thought
was really there.
we are the raving children
we are the embodiments
of everything you could ever wish to become
watch as we flail
watch as we flounder
but we will never go under
we do not need an audience
when everythings falling to pieces
we will be dancing, we will be
enjoying the last precious moments
before everything that was holding you
together breaks.
we will never stop
these lights
these glares
burning every moment
into my memory for all time
we will never drift away
or will we?
who could ever doubt our essistence?
when we connect
we add to each other
add to the madness
hearts will break
but for now they soar
they fly amongst one another
non physical in the least
although perhaps we long it to be
would that not only taint this
beautiful moment?
dont say anything
there is a mutual
silent agreement
isnt there?
is this why I never
doubted anything
why I never let
my feelings get
out of control
with such perfect
precision
we are able
to
barely
scratch the surface
slipping from one to the other
you know what you desire
I know what it is I need
will we find it?
does it even matter?
I have found comfort
you shall always have me.
waiting just for the very
core of what we thought it was
to shake
to break
to slip away
but it never will
will it?

haha! Its a good thing you quoted something from the poem there... because I honestly do not remember this piece. I usually type my work into Notepad, listening to music and forget about it for a while until the mood fancies me to go through my stuff and submit anything semi recent. Glad you enjoyed!
