Well, when you're more likely pursuing your dreams of becoming great just to inspire others to become great, then you are most likely to gain their love and determination! XD I mean there's no other optimistic and hard working member like Papyrus. And if you can look back on the original CANON Undertale, he is the sole bridge that connects the friendship between Frisk and the most headstrong Fish Warrior in the underground! And the one responsible for bringing everyone together just to help Frisk! Heck! He even got Flowey to start to grow on him(NO PUN INTENDED!) It's like he's what brings life and color into everyone's life. Cuz think about it.....killing Papyrus even in just a nuetral run would still just be downright Genocide(at least for me.)

So how could Pappy like NOT be the favorite member, more so the favorite character as the epitome of Innocence, adorableness and even Friendship of Undertale? XD
