Uru: The only cub of the infamous King Damu, Uru was a spoilt princess who only began to take her future Queenship seriously once the Pridelands began to fall into entropy after the sudden death of her mother caused her father to go mad with grief. She was a proud, headstrong lioness who decided to do what she had to to save her home, eventually siding with her father's enemies in the Backlands; a small group of Barbary lions who had settled in the Mirihi Forest, in order to overthrow her father. Due to her father's murder of the majority of their pride because of his blind grief and paranoia, Uru had no choice but to allow the other pride to stay and unite with them to say her own pride. One such lion was her future mate Ahadi, who would later go on to be the father of her two sons Mufasa and Askari.

Ahadi: Due to being a Barbary lion, Ahadi was noticably larger than the other lions within the Prideland. However, he was a actually the complete opposite of his appearance and was a known pacifist, which caused him to butt heads with the short-tempered Princess-turned-Queen Uru after she permitted them to stay in her land. He wanted to care for the land and believed completely in the Circle of Life and how it affected the world and those around them, teaching Uru to respect the world around her rather than expecting everything to kneel by force. No one knew how the quiet, large lion won the heart of the fierce Queen, but many held hope that their two cubs Mufasa and Askari would carry both of their qualities and finally mend the rift left by King Damu.

Mheetu: When Sarafina gave birth shortly into Scar's reign, none of the Pride had wanted to believe the identity of the Mheetu's father. Born from Sarafina's grief over losing her mate shortly after Nala's birth and the manipulation of Scar, Mheetu was often disregarded within the pride as a illegimate child born from a rogue; a story the lionesses crafted to protect both Sarafina and Mheetu from being pressured into his idea of providing the 'perfect' heir that Zira clearly wished to fulfil no matter the cost. He was a young teenager when he was forced out of the Pridelands by the hyenas, working under Scar's growing paranoia of any male threatening his reign, and only returned with nearly as a young adult when word spread of Scar's being overthrown. However, the life of a rogue suited Mheetu well and so he would often return ever season or so to spend time with his sister and her growing family. Kopa: The youngest son of Simba and Nala, Kopa was born shortly after the unification of the Pridelander and Outlander prides and so is seen by many within the land to represent an era of peace for the land. A somewhat arrogant, prideful cub that reminded many of his father at his age and the lost innocence of the land, Kopa is used to being given affection and being allowed to roam free without worry by his parents seeking to fix the wrongs done to his older siblings during the old times of unrest. When Kion returned to the Pridelands, Kopa sought to prove himself to the land as being more than just the odd royal out without a role in the Circle of Life, only to end up nearly being killed by a group of rogue lions that began to slither their way into the Outlands after Zira's death and as a result was put under the watch of the Lion Guard until the threat was dealt with.

Afua: Kopa's closest friend and the son of Chumvi, Afua is a stocky lion cub that is eager to follow Kopa's schemes for approval, feeling right at home in the Pridelands. He is a polite, somewhat oblivious cub that just wants to make friends and have fun, often getting into trouble however due to his inability to judge situations properly. However, upon meeting Kopa's uncle Mheetu, Afua began to look into his own family that would eventually blossom into his love for history and legends.

Amani: The only cub of Kiara and Kovu, Amani was born rather sickly after a turbulent pregnancy that warned her parents away from attempting to concieve any more cubs. Growing up with constant illnesses and complications, it had been a miracle that Amani had survived into adulthood, but eventually grew into an intelligent, strategic lioness that would redesign the pattern of herd grazing to allow for more animals to live within the Pridelands.
