I don't know why....he just looks like a Keith
A new character I've been working on....I started him in sketcher over at TLKFAA. Believe it or not he was originally blue XD
But I think I like the earthy colours better ^-^
I've been practicing wings lately and I'm getting better, so I decided to make a character with some.
I tried to design him on logic. His tail is big and poofy to act like a rudder of sorts.
Also, I tried breaking out of my /clean/ bubble and tried something different with the lineart.

and i just love that the colors of the BG match a lot with Keith's color palette C:

LOL, he does look like a Keith! Maybe it's all the "hair" ... ?
I like the earth colors, too. It helps "ground" him, not make him look too surreal, especially combined with the wings and non-lion markings. I think blue on top of all that might have been a little much.

well the blue wasn't on top, he was all blue. But with the wings and blue fur he was, like you said, too surreal

LOL, sorry, I guess I didn't word that correctly. I meant, making him blue on top of all his other fantasy characteristics, like in addition to, not necessarily the actual placement of his blue markings.
Either way, he's gorgeous!
