Description
This scanner is driving me crazyI managed it to scans the drawings as faithful as possible to the originals (the right ones). They're not as beautiful as the earlier scans, but better appreciate the shades and skin now, for example. I'll change the submissions eventually.
BUT not everything can be perfect, nooo, lately it scans with poor quality with many pixels that I am ashamed to show them. I have already finished some drawings I can't upload because the machine doesn't scan well almost all the time. So please be a little patient with me ><;
I feel like I'm complaining about the scanner lately but as a traditional artist, and without a good camera, the scanner is all that I have to show my drawings orz
For the people who did ββtrades with me , if you are interested in having the new versions of the pictures, let me know so I'll send them as soon as they have a minimum scan quality ; u ; )/
I'll put this in scrap later.

I agree with *Cho-Nova with using photoshop, or any similar program, to fix them as it's really helpful. It takes a little tinkering to get it looking right but I think it's much easier than trying to find a good scanner as there are so many of them and trying out good ones means going the more expensive route. ;o;

Yeah, but as I said to Nova, the left ones are already touched and my main problem now is not the colors but the quality, because the scans are very very pixelated lately (I think it can be appreciated in the hair lines of the last picture on the left) and makes a lot of noise. That's something that can't be fixed with ps, at least with my level. I have no choice but to buy a better scanner ;__;
This one has like 4 years and was the cheapest I found lol. Doesn't look very good :__D

I usually put it in the description of each drawing BUT I DON'T MIND TELLING YOU, CUTIEPIE.
I'm working mainly with watercolors, inks, thin nibs, brushes (No. 4-8-10), some pastels and 225g A3 paper size.

Maybe try taking a picture of them and fixing the colors in photoshop? I did that for my last watercolor and it worked pretty well for me.

Or try fixing the scans you have in photoshop? Sometimes details I thought I lost completely have been brought out through the right adjustments.

Sadly, my camera died and can't take good pictures with it. About fixing them with PS, the funny thing is that the left ones are already touched up, because the original scans were too dull and lighter (if it makes sense). Maybe I'm not very good, but these were the best I could do.
I'll try to experiment more with PS ; u ; )/

Keep trying! Have you tried using advanced settings when scanning something? My other scanner had an auto scan option and a more detailed option that would fix stuff the auto scan would screw up.

Scanner woes, oh GOD do I know! I don't have a single piece of art in my gallery that my scanners haven't raped the colours out of T_T scanners REALLY hate subtle colouring and watercolours. UGH.
