okay so! got inspired by the brutal ending to their adam arc as well as a friend's drawing on tumblr. and made this. yeah
lotsa symbolism
-yinyang because. well. they're yin and yang, we all know that right?
-the red thread of fate tied around their ankles as per the chinese myth. they're soulmates
-they're both holding the pieces of gambol shroud they used to kill adam, still stained with blood. yang holds hers at her side while blake holds it close; adam was much to her once, and she never wanted any of this to happen
-adam's emblem, a red rose, is between them and their hands are holding over it. it's meant to represent the enchanted rose from beauty and the beast, which "cursed" the beast (blake, in this case, with the curse being adam's abuse), but also brought belle and the beast together (shoutout to this post)
-overall i wanted to put reds all over (the blood, the rose, the thread and the background) to highlight adam's presence. i also put a minor red multiply layer on blake and yang's colors
so yeah uhh fuck adam and i'm glad they get to heal together now
