Was surprised by how much I enjoyed the Hobbit! I'd seen photos of the good-looking Fili and Kili all over the interwebs but it was the broody older-man Thorin who really stole my heart. It was SOOOO gruelling having to look up pictures of all these handsome men for reference. My job is so hard.These buttons are 1.5" in diameter. Art was drawn in OpenCanvas.

As dwarves get older, their noses get bigger and bigger, but Thorin's seems to keep very good proportions, regardless.

All my love to the Bilbo pins. I mean, saucy dwarves are all well and good, but Bilbo has the bestest faces and you play that up wonderfully here.

Yes, but just a couple more for this round! I just finished Dwalin as per a good friend's request and I think I'll do Bofur as well. Still haven't decided whether or not to make Gandalf and Gollum.
As the movies progress the story (and allegedly give each dwarf a backstory) I might end up with a complete set.

Loooooove Thorin (and adore the actor who plays him). Nobody can pull of intense/brooding/glaring/sexy eyes the way Richard Armitage can.
