Redone version of page one. Wanted to make the Weasel-Man-monster thing a bit more threatening so it matched the last few pages of the story when I did them...as well as put a bit more tension on the pacing.Related content

Of the group of pieces you've uploaded this is my favorite. I particularly enjoy the Weasel-Man-monster thing. It's positioning and pose is very appealing. Inks seem very sharp and draw the eye in with the contrast they provide.
I find it curious that you've decided to go ahead with the inks while I can see framework still being done in the upper area of the page, particularly in the right-hand corner. Though I can also attest to working out of order in my own sketches, it seems a very far leap ahead.
I don't know if you've mentioned this before, but may I ask what type of pens you use? I have yet to find a pen I trust to ink my own work. Your lines appear very sharp and the details they capture are also very fine.
The storytelling in your other pages seems to be good, as well. Thought I'd mention that here, as well. I'm still working on that aspect of drawing, myself.

I did kinda jump the gun on the inking since I had already inked the original version of the page and while I had yet to decide the exact design of the building that would appear behind the main character, I wanted to ink her to determine if I liked this version enough to continue. But once I decided to keep going, and it was enough to show the writer, I stopped and put down the ink. I am using a combination of things. This was mostly Micron Sakura Pens Sizes 01-05 and some minor brush work. I definitely need to get better with them. I also just swiped a rapidograph set off ebay for cheap. Those babies are like a neurosurgeons tools!
