BIOGRAPHY
In The Enchanted Forest/Fairy Tale World, Dee Dee's father was a trusted and noble soldier to the king in their home and a top-notch guard and pretty close to the king. The soldier promised the King that when his wife would bear a son, he would take over and help out in the kingdom as well. Unfortunately, Dee Dee's father died from an unknown incident while with the other soldiers, though it appears he was killed in action before the birth of his daughter. Dee Dee's mother was alone and was a woman who was asked to preform graceful ballets and dances to entertain the king who often acted like a dirty rat, especially around her.

Eventually, Dee Dee was born, but alas, she was a girl, and her mother was executed for not birthing a proper son who could become a soldier someday. Dee Dee was soon sent away by order of the king to a workhouse and eventually, Dee Dee, who inherited her mother's dancing skill, was told to stop dancing and dreaming and be a "normal little girl" to learn how to cook and clean and please her future husband, if she's even lucky to have one. Dee Dee then ran away and had been on her own ever since.

In Storybrooke, Dee Dee is a street urchin who found a house to claim as her own and makes sure no one finds out that she's living all by herself. Dee Dee still wishes to become a skilled ballerina and dancer someday and saves up money whenever she can find some. She also usually asks adults to sign her permission slips and forms for school so no one suspects her being home alone, though people like Mr. Gold and Ms. Blanchard seem to suspect something about her strange behavior. Dee Dee is also best friends with Henry and often reads his book with him and usually makes sure no one sees her leaving home by herself or when she wanders the streets, especially her usual visits to the pawnshop and she wants to buy a Nutcracker doll that catches her eye. Eventually later on, Leroy and Astrid adopt Dee Dee as their daughter and vow to protect her from anything Storybrooke can throw at her.
