The NES version is held in high regards, too. But no doubt; the Game Boy version is the definitive version. In fact, many critics still consider it the greatest launch game of all-time. It helped the Game Boy sell like hot cakes. I mean, a portable Tetris? Who doesn't love that?

Ah, I see. That does make sense. Tetris is a simple and fun game so I can see why people would've loved it more on the Game Boy sense they could take it on the road.
