Ripping sprites? I put this tileset together myself and used user created content.. I put the overworlds in the map in order to create some atmosphere and life into the map

ok, i think that fan projects are a complete waste of time (thats just me). I feel that in most cases they come off as a rip off of the original or are just stupid in general (for example almost every mario rom hack). however, rarely i find some sort of artist or writer that works on fan projects and they are very good (I'm going to include you because your spite work is actually kinda neat). I say this because they could be out working on their own original ideas but they aren't. they have the skill but they don't. and that is wat i don't get. why work on a fan project when u can make your own project. People work on fan projects because they like Pokemon so much. They don't make an original one because they want recreate the feel of pokemon games!
