Chris sat in his rocking chair, slowly lurching forward and falling back. His white hair flowed in the wind beside of him as his beard was on his chest. He remembered the day he got his his purpose, it was horrible, his parents and everyone were dead. Then he remembered the family afterwards, The god who tried to kill him but ended up being one of his best friends.The old god who started a revolution, who ended up being his mentor. The patriotic warrior who took his son in at the worst of times. The time god who was quirky in his own rights, who took his daughter in and raised her to be a beautiful young woman. The old sun god who was dragged back into action after thousands of years being dormant. Then there was his wife, the mother of his children, Shylow. He remembered the look of her body as a whole, he remembered her playful personality as a kid, always messing with him. He remembered the look on her face when she was with the twins. Even though she wasn't with Chris anymore she could still feel her love inside of him. He remebered the Justice, the group of teenagers that saved the world. He remebered the moment he found out his fatherwas Mr. Nobody, always hiding it from Chris. He took a deep breath and creased his face into a smile, a tear streaming down his old face. Why was he remembering these things? The sweet, soft melody of a violin played in the distance, a melody used to lure people from their pain. Chris smiled at the sweet memories as he sat, he felt the time getting nearer, and after a long break of about an hour, he smiled one last time, while he held a picture of his friends and family. He closed his eyes as the sound called him in, fading away out of this world, to be gone forever.
