Description
The darkness of the night enveloped the small bedroom, taking over any aspect of light. The only things differing from this darkness was the two figures going around the room, constantly crashing into walls, breaking things, and the whimpers of a little girl. One of the figures was obviously human, seeming to be a young man. The other, was nothing near human, it had long claws, a bald head, short figure and bony limbs. The two of them slung each other about the room, trying to get the upper hand. This was an unfamiliar scene among the normal "monster enters the house and murders the family." This time, the monster entered the house and threatened a mans little girl, poising over the body and ready to cut it up. The father heard the small noises in the living room, while watching the tv. He investigated, opening the door and finding the monster. He immediately went to protect the daughter, engaging in a battle with the monster, throwing the creature around the room while his daughter cried. The creature had cut him, but he ignored it, already in full berserker mode. He slammed the creature into a dresser, breaking the mirror above it. He tossed it while it cut him, eventually making him a bloody mess. After about fifteen minutes of battling he stomped on its head, making it cave in, killing the beast. The door busted in, the police walking through, just as the man collapsed in a puddle of blood. He looked at the carcass of the beast, uttering with his last breath. "You will know the strength of humanity." He then went limp, death sweeping over his body.

The primal retribution of another monster, but one which cloaks itself in the connotations of light. We are rarely confronted with the monster's desires when we are blinded by the assumed "reality" of our own.

That's really analytical ._.
The point of this is that we human, are monsters too

I do not believe in original sin; people have as many tendencies for harm as they do for constructive social bonds. A lot of it comes down to the architecture of society. Human civilisation is far more able to change its structure; it's just stuck in a giant crater of ideological and semiotic confusion. Have you heard of the concept of the "noble savage" before?

We as humans were made to adapt.
The very situations around us mold us with in a second.
This story takes the place of a father, who's primal instincts kicked in right as it needed to, therefore illustrating that we all are domestic monsters.

Instincts, cultures, personalities and experiences go hand in hand. I'd argue that the second is dominant and has come to sideline the other three.

True, true.
Very much agreed
Culture seems to have more of an influence more than instincts

It happened during the Cold War; it happened in the Third Reich; it's happening almost everywhere. The rich aren't even in control; they delegate that to systems which are designed by programmers, architects and other designers whose minds are controlled by scriptures and servitude to the rich themselves. Even the odd cry for consciousness is flattened by culture, which can manifest itself as tradition and ideology. Vapourwave, for example, is a pretty scathing comment of a cultural movement which is aimed at consumerism and postmodern meaninglessness - but it got embraced by MTV, which often spouts that crap. Even rebellion can be part of culture.
