There was truly nothing as wonderful as feeling the warmth of big arms embrace you from behind. A smile graced your lips.

"Reiner..." His name fell out of your mouth softly. You could hear him smirk in response. "Why are you here?"

"I don't know, babe. To see the sunset, I guess. And to see you." It was sunset and everyone else was eating dinner, exhausted and half-asleep from a rigorous day of training. You had absolutely inhaled your food just so you could get out early and have a walk. Nothing settled you more then seeing the sun dip through the clouds and retire for the day.

Playfully, the blonde pulled at your wrist, twirling your body around to face him in one easy movement. You snapped your elbow up immediately, out of reflex, to escape his grip.

"Come on, (y/n)... don't you want to play?" Reiner's lips were at your ear. You could feel his hot breath on your neck. It felt like fire compared to the freezing kisses the twilight winds created on your skin.

"I don't have time for playing, Rein. In a matter of minutes I'll have to go to bed." You frowned in a friendly way. He knew you were enjoying his teasing. His attempts to get into your pants had been ongoing for years, and a beautiful flirtationship had arisen between you as a result.

"You have to shower first, (y/n), otherwise Captain will bust your balls." He smiled, leaning towards you. "And to save water, we could always shower together..."

"Nice try, sweetie. I showered before dinner. I really need an early night." You raised your arm to his nose so he could smell the lingering soap on your skin.

His cheeky smile turned malicious. "That's too bad, (y/n)..." He grabbed you by the waist. "It looks like you're going to have to have another." With very little warning, he dived into a massive pool of mud.

You squealed as he bought you into the filth with him.

"God damn, Reiner. Were you put on this earth to torture me?" You were both erupting in laughter. You were both soaked in brown. The sludge dripped from your ponytail and down your face. You could feel twigs and rocks dig into your butt.

Reiner pinned your shoulders down to the ground and crawled on top of you, trapping your hips between his knees.

"Look, (y/n). I have you trapped now!" He smirked. He dipped his fingers in the mud and drew a love heart on your left cheek.

"Get off me!" You were still laughing as you made a pathetic attempt to shove the hulking boy off you. Your resistance was only half-arsed and Reiner knew it.

"You like being trapped under me, don't you babe?" His face leaned down to your own. Your face was turning as red and hot as the sky above the setting sun. Your chest heaved up and down as you tried to catch your breath from all the laughing.

"Come on, if someone sees us like this we'll have to do double chores." You half-groaned.

"Fine, fine! I'll let you free. As soon as you kiss me." His nose was against yours. His breath was already kissing your lips.

"Reiner, you diiiiiiiccckkkk!" You turned your face to the side and laughed more.

"Come on, (y/n)." He sang as his rough, calloused hand gently pulled your chin back to face him. He leaned further into you, lips parted and ready. This was it. You delicately placed your muddy hand in his hair, encouraging him. Your eyelids fluttered shut. You drew a deep, ragged breath, anticipating the kiss.

As soon as his rough, smirking lips touched your quivering ones, you were interupted.

"What the actual fuck do you brats think your doing?"

Reiner pulled away quickly, takings only a second to stand up straight and salute Levi. "Nothing, sir." He was absolutely dripping in mud and his previously-white shirt and pants were now splattered in dirt. He looked like an idiot. You didn't even attempt to get up, you knew that nothing could save either of your asses now.

"For fucks sake, Braun. It looks like a titan shat on you. I ought to burn your uniform with you still inside it." The short man narrowed his grey eyes and 'tched' in disgust. "Why aren't you standing up and apologizing for your current state, (l/n)? Are you waiting for a handwritten invitation?"

Your mouth gaped and closed like a confused goldfish before you brought yourself up from the mud puddle. Levi's expression was getting more and more livid by the second.

"Which one of you is going to explain the circumstances of this situation?" Levi wasn't asking casually. He was demanding.

"Sir. (Y/n) Tripped on a twig and fell into the mud, sir. I went to help her, sir, then I uh... tripped over the same twig and fell in with her." Reiner was trying to keep his cool.

"Really?" Levi raised an eyebrow. "Braun, if I don't see that uniform spotless by tomorrow, I'm going to shove it up your ass. Clean it. Twice." Reiner smirked slightly. That was a pretty light punishment for getting caught fooling around in the mud. "And, after you clean your uniform twice, you're going to go to each and every fucking dorm room and do the same for every other uniform you see." Reiner clenched his teeth together and looked down at his shoes. He knew there was no way he was going to get to bed before 5am now. "Why the fuck are you still standing here? GO!"

Reiner gave you one last look, his golden eyes whispering a 'sorry', before he sulked off towards the dorms.

Your cheeks burned hot red in embarrassment as you saw Levi observe your uniform from toe to head. You'd tried so hard to get in Levi's good books. All your effort was wasted now.

Levi said nothing, but rather grabbed your wrist in an iron grip and led you back towards the illuminated Survey Corps buildings. He was walking so fast you practically had to run to keep up with him.

He surprised you by pushing you into his bedroom door once you two reached it.

"Take off those disgusting excuses for clothing and shower yourself."

You obeyed. You walked over to the en-suite of your captain's room and stepped into the shower. A black curtain trapped you in the tiled shower square. You tore off your clothes and put them at your feet. You guessed that it would probably be a good thing if they got rinsed off while you showered.

"(Y/n)." Levi's voice spoke through the dark curtain. "I want you to scrub every inch of your skin raw. I want every drop of mud off you."

"Y-yes sir." You turned the shower on and let the water wash over you. The mud mixed with in with the clear water and slid down your body.

"Make the water as hot as possible." Levi barked. "I want every trace of that brute burned off..." His voice broke down to a whisper. Had you heard him right?

You spent five minutes letting the boiling water scald your skin. You coated every centimeter of you in soapy bubbles and scrubbed yourself with Levi's snow-white facecloth until your skin ached. Your body was pink from the hot water and vigorous scrubbing. Your nose and mouth tingled from the amount of steam that you had breathed in. Surely this would satisfy the captain.

"Sir?" You called out loudly, expecting him to be in the other room occupying his time with paperwork.

"Yes, (y/n)?" A loud sigh was immediately heard right on the other side of the shower curtain. Crap. Had he been there the whole time? "Are you finally finished?"

"Y-yes." You stuttered, feeling uneasy about how there had only been a curtain separating you and him for the past 5 minutes. you mentally scowled yourself. You were being ridiculous, he was your captain and he was only making you clean yourself. He wasn't some kind of pervert.

A pale hand thrust through the side of the black shower curtain, a crisp white towel clenched in his grip. You swiftly took the towel and wrapped yourself in it. You were surprised at the length, or lack-of. It only just covered your lady parts. But he wasn't here to perv on you. He showed no interest in you.

You stepped out carefully. Slipping and banging your head on the floor wouldn't leave Levi with an awfully good impression of you.

Levi watched you exit the shower. He had to use all his strength and self restraint not to show any sign of arousal.

Heat steamed off your skin. Your wet hair cupped your face and dripped down your back. The tiny towel covered very, very little...

How many opportunities would he ever get to be alone with a dripping, pristine you?

Levi bit his lip and walked towards you. You took a step back, but banged into the shower. You were cornered like a defenseless animal.

Levi ran his had up your back until he gripped the hair on the back of your head. He pulled your face close to his and licked a droplet of water that danced down your jaw.

"Now, (y/n). Your punishment begins..."
