This is Part 5 in a graphic art series I'm drawing that features Tara Strong sporting Twilight Sparkle's insanely hilarious expressions from Lesson Zero. This was the hardest scene to execute to date. The first challenge was to settle on a design for Tara's body which was solved after a few days of experimentation. Challenge #2 came when I was debating on how to execute the scene as a whole. There were multiple parts that really caught my eye in the ball popping shot. Unfortunately no actual frame in the footage included all the elements I liked. Therefore, I decided to add all the details that I enjoyed the most to the scene (i.e. the magic aura, the white impact spikes, the bits of the ball in the air, etc.) I am pleased with this but naturally there are certain things that I wish I could do better. Working with vector is indeed a learning process for me. Next up in the series will be the infamous "Hi girls..." scene!

The series I'm doing is mainly focused on Tara Strong but an update someday wouldn't hurt! Β I certainly agree that it would make me die seeing their human counterparts next to them XD.

Maybe as one offs later on (if you feel up to it of course), you just do one crazy face per actress.

Applebloom and Sweetie Belle are surprised to see Twilight hanging around with a human. But they literally look like they just said "ta-da!" while appearing out the blue. xD

It isn't a problem at all, I'm going far and wide to find some amazing obscure pony artists. It always inspires me so much when I can find them. I have much to learn, so I kinda ask some people how they started using digital art and whatnot.. I currently have next to nothing when it comes to using proper tools of art haha.
