Picture of my costume from my first con. This is one of my Steampunk character's outfits, and as you can see, I'm wearing my belt-bag thing. (I really don't know what else to call it.) I only went to the con on Sunday because I had a lot of homework to do.Info about my character: her name is Ivory Siren and she is a photographer. Over the summer, I'm going to attempt to make one of those big old cameras with the attached tripod and the cloth for the photographer to hide under and everything, but for now, this is all I have.

Fun story about the boots: I got them freshmen year of college (before I even heard of Steampunk) and I didn't wear them much since I got new, warmer winter boots. But when I was putting my costume together, I looked at them and they were suddenly the most genius fashion decision I'd ever made.

Oh I love it when that happens, which is never often but great when it does. It's like accidentally washing that 5 dollar bill and then when you wear the pants again and stick your hands in the pocket you find it all over again.
