Description
My God I officially hate this picture! I spent like an hour in photoshop trying to turn that dragonfly red and it was a real pain! But it came out fantastic and I wanted to show it here. This is a magazine photogram that I did in photography class, I love it so yay. Comments would be great, thanks a lot and enjoy!Related content

Well now I am, when I did this I was just mad because my hand hurt from using the mouse constantly for an hour.

This is what I wanted to show you today. And I said I hated that picture because I posted this after I had finished it and my hand hurt from the mouse.

For future reference, all you had to do was seperate the dragonfly on a different layer and create a new layer on top of it, set it as overlay or something with a red fill... if that makes since... lol.
But I love how this turned out. It's so crazy looking and it's a magazine cover, right? Wow. That must be some crazy magazine if it is!

I know that's all I had to do, but I had to do it differently. I outlined the dragonfly very widely, so I had like half an inch on each side, made it a different layer, turned it red, put it behind the whole picture and started to erase the top layer where the dragonfly was, exposing the red. I had to do it that way because my hands aren't steady enough to outline it that close. If you notice, on the bottom edges of the two right wings, the red is a little wavy because my hand decided not to want to trace the line of the wings.
And this wasn't a magazine cover, it was just a page from inside the magazine. The dragonfly was on a makeup ad, and the foot (which is attached to a person) was part of a Sims Superstar ad. Since the page was so thin, when you lay it on top of the photo paper and expose it to the light, you get both sides. And that was a lot to type.

Before I changed the colors, the dragonfly's wings were too light to see, so that would have been no use, since I couldn't tell the difference between things. And I don't know what version it was, since it was at school. I don't have photoshop, but you told me you'd burn it for me.
