Description I was bored today and decided to try out an idea that I had: I wanted to see how many stories I could tell using chess pieces. Now, I have one chess set where the pieces are shaped like people, a woman for the Queen, a man riding a horse for the knight, and so on. I had planed to use those, but they didn't show up well on camera so I ended up using my glass set, it showed up better and I was happy with the outcome.

For this, the title is obvious: the King is in check and the knight is the major threat. Since I haven't played chess in so long, I couldn't think of how to set up check mate without going through an entire game. Enjoy!

I like it!
I feel that, perhaps, a closer shot, with a focus on the knight's path to the king might be more emotive... It feels a little cropped down, and lack of focus- but the idea is really good!

I get the lack of focus thing. By the time did this shot, I'd been crawling around on my knees looking for good angles for about an hour, so I was a little tired. Thanks for your comment!
