And, question: the foot that's scratching its ear, is that completely anatomically correct? I don't know much about animal anatomy, so the way it's turned looks... not a hundred percent right.

From this view, yeah, it's wrong. The hindquarter or the meat of the leg is a bit too large, and the skinnier "forearm" is not long enough. Also some more indication of paw pads would have been better to define the form of the underside of the foot like they did on the bottom back foot that the dog's sitting on. So yeah, some mistakes that I see from this view, but since it's a sculpture and is meant to be viewed from all angles, I'm not entirely sure. Hopefully though that answers your question.
