Don't know if this really counts as marco, but whatever.This is a close up of the gate on the Soviet cemetery in Weimar. Weimar was on the Soviet side (the East) so naturally, they would erect monuments to those Socialists and Communists who died in WWII.

Must have been interesting to see the other side of WWII, I know I always find it interesting to see the "opposing" side point of view no matter what event it was / is.

Yeah, I study WWII from the European perspective, but I've never looked much at the USSR version of things.
